Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Please read these terms before you book. By sending a booking request on this website, or by using our inspection service, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

[jpc_legal_name] (“JaachPadtal”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides independent pre-delivery inspection (PDI) services for new cars. Our office is at [jpc_address]. You can reach us on [jpc_phones][jpc_email_line].

2. What we do

A PDI is a visual and functional check of a car before it is handed over to you. Our inspector checks the car at the dealership, or at another place we agree with you, and gives you a report of what was found on the day of the inspection, within the inspection scope you selected.

3. Booking

  • Sending the booking form is a request, not a confirmed booking. Your booking is confirmed only when we contact you and agree the date, time, place and price. You receive a Booking ID when you send the form.
  • Please give us correct details: your name, mobile number, the car and the city. We use these to contact you and to let you track your booking.
  • We may need to change a time or decline a request, for example if the dealership cannot make the car available. If that happens we will tell you as early as we can.

4. Where we work

We currently serve [jpc_service_area]. If you are in another city you can tell us your city. That is an expression of interest, not a booking, and not a promise of service.

5. Inspection scope

The inspection covers the areas listed on our website and in your booking confirmation: exterior, paint and body, tyres and wheels, interior, engine bay, electrical items, diagnostics, documents and VIN, and underbody. The exact scope depends on the inspection you choose and on what the dealership allows us to access. No component is dismantled unless you have specifically authorised it and it is safe to do so.

6. Pricing and payment

Our PDI starts from the price shown on our website. The final price may vary based on the vehicle type, location and inspection requirements, and we tell you the price when we confirm your booking. You do not pay through the booking form. Payment methods and timing are confirmed with you when we confirm your booking. Taxes that apply are shown when we quote.

7. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds

Please see our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

8. Dealership access

We need the dealership to give our inspector access to the car, its keys and its documents. Please tell your dealership the date we will visit. We cannot force access. If access is refused or limited, we will record this in your report where we can, and our Cancellation and Refund Policy applies.

9. Road test and OBD scan

  • A road test is done only where the dealership permits it and conditions are safe and suitable.
  • An OBD diagnostic scan is done where the vehicle is compatible and the scan is available. It may not be possible for every vehicle.

10. What the inspection covers, and what it does not

  • The report describes the condition of the car as we found it on the day and at the place of inspection, using visual and functional checks.
  • Our inspection provides an independent assessment based on the selected inspection scope. It does not guarantee that a vehicle is free from hidden, internal or future defects.
  • It is not a warranty, and it does not replace the manufacturer’s or dealer’s warranty.
  • Our report and recommendation are our professional opinion. Whether to accept delivery is always your decision.
  • We do not negotiate with the dealership for you unless we have agreed that with you in writing.

11. Reports

We tell you the expected report time when we confirm your booking. Your report is available to you through the Track Your PDI page after you verify your mobile number, and is for your own use. Please do not share your report link or verification codes with others.

12. Your responsibilities

  • Arrange with your dealership that we may inspect the car on the agreed date.
  • Make sure the car, keys and documents are available to us at the agreed time.
  • Keep your mobile number secure. Anyone who can receive your verification code can see your booking.

13. Independence

[jpc_independence]

14. Our responsibility to you

We will carry out the inspection with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim connected with an inspection is limited to the fee you paid for that inspection, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law.

15. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, floods, strikes, restrictions, road closures or a dealership closure. If that happens we will tell you and offer a new date or deal with your booking as set out in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

16. Our content

The text, design and logo on this website, and the reports we give you, belong to JaachPadtal. Reports are for your own use.

17. Your data

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with its date, is the one that applies when you book.

19. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [jpc_jurisdiction] have jurisdiction over any dispute, after we have first tried to sort it out with you directly.
